telli — Builds AI phone agents that handle sales calls and customer outreach, tripling engagement rates while cutting costs by 70% for teams that integrate it with their CRM. Raised $15M seed led by Redalpine, with Cherry Ventures and Y Combinator also on board.

voize — Lets nurses document care by speaking into their phone instead of typing, saving each nurse roughly 39 minutes a day and used across 600+ care homes. Founded by twin brothers whose grandfather's experience in a nursing home inspired the idea. Raised €43M Series A led by Balderton Capital.

ai-coustics — An API and SDK that restores studio-quality sound to any recording, fixing background noise and distortion so even cheap microphones can produce clear voice audio for Voice AI apps. Clients include Deutsche Welle and Radio France. Raised €5M seed led by Partech.

Diligent (the AI startup, not the governance software giant) — Builds autonomous AI analysts that automate KYC and anti-money-laundering screening for banks and fintechs, freeing human compliance teams to focus on judgment calls instead of paperwork. Backed by Y Combinator, raised €2.1M seed led by Speedinvest.

Zauber — AI agents purpose-built for sea and air freight forwarding, automating the operational grind of booking and coordinating international shipments.

Needle — An AI search and agent platform that indexes a company's scattered data (Gmail, Slack, Confluence, Dropbox) into one searchable layer, so building an AI agent doesn't require months of custom integration work. Raised $2.2M seed led by 468 Capital and Presight Capital.

Zapdeck — AI software that turns rough notes into polished, on-brand presentation slides, built for consultants and founders who'd rather not spend hours in PowerPoint.

Fintech & Payments

pyne — A "B2B Revenue Operating System" built for wealth managers, fee-based advisors, and private banks to manage client relationships and revenue in one place.

Rally — A financial operating system for modern vehicle fleets, giving fleet operators the payment and expense tools built specifically around how fleets actually run.

Lumen Payments — An open-source alternative to Stripe Billing, letting developers implement payments in their product without wrestling with Stripe's full complexity. Part of Y Combinator's W24 batch.

Integral — An AI-powered platform aiming to fully outsource accounting, tax, and payroll for German SMEs, tackling a market where 71% of accounting firms can't find enough qualified staff. Raised €6.3M led by General Catalyst and Cherry Ventures.

Tabula — An AI copilot for accounting firms that automates the manual bookings and client back-and-forth eating into the 90% of time accountants spend on routine tasks. Backed by Y Combinator and LocalGlobe.

Key Ward — A no-code SaaS platform helping engineering teams integrate AI and manage complex technical data without needing a dedicated data science team. Raised $1.05M led by Wellstreet.

Regpit — An all-in-one cockpit for anti-money-laundering compliance and sanctions management, built by a former lawyer who saw the gap firsthand while advising banks on AML.

Banxware — A lending-as-a-service platform that lets marketplaces and payment providers offer instant business loans to their merchants under their own brand. Has raised over €30M across multiple rounds, most recently €10M from UniCredit.

topi (now part of PEAC Solutions) — Built a B2B hardware subscription platform letting retailers and manufacturers offer devices as a monthly service instead of a cash purchase, before being acquired by finance platform PEAC Solutions in 2025. Still operates from its Berlin HQ.

Timeless Investments — Lets everyday investors buy fractional shares in rare collectibles like watches, classic cars, and fine art, starting from as little as €50. Raised €12M led by EQT Ventures.

HR & Workplace Tools

Kombo — A single unified API that lets software companies plug into dozens of different HR, payroll, and recruiting systems at once, instead of building a separate integration for each one. Backed by Y Combinator.

Legal & Compliance Tech

Nomos — An AI-powered legal research and document drafting tool trained on high-quality legal data, built to help lawyers move faster through routine legal work.

mitte.ai — Builds AI-powered agents for information security, legal, compliance, and finance teams, automating requests that would otherwise pile up in someone's inbox.

Centinel Analytica — Built by former bot developers who switched sides, Centinel detects and blocks AI crawlers and scrapers stealing content from digital publishers, fingerprinting bots at the network level where they can't fake being human.

Climate & Sustainability

autarc — An operating system for heat pump installers, letting them manage every step of a project from one interface instead of juggling disconnected CRM, ERP, and planning tools. Part of Y Combinator's S24 batch, aiming to help install 1 million heat pumps by 2030.

forward earth — AI-powered environmental management software helping companies track and report their carbon footprint. Raised €4.5M seed as demand for compliance-grade sustainability reporting grew globally.

Thermosphr — An "autopilot" for commercial building HVAC systems, using thermal modeling to cut energy use by more than 30% with no upfront hardware cost.

Healthtech

aiomics — Positions itself as an AI co-pilot for healthcare providers, helping clinicians manage information and decisions faster.

PraxiPal — An AI-powered virtual receptionist for medical practices that automates phone calls, addressing the acute shortage of front-desk staff in German clinics. Raised funding from HV Capital.

MOTOR Ai — Building Level 4 autonomous driving technology based on cognitive neuroscience rather than the usual data-hungry deep learning approach, aiming for explainable, EU AI Act-compliant self-driving for commercial fleets. Raised €17.1M seed.

senvo — Audits every shipment automatically, giving logistics teams full visibility into last-mile delivery data without manual checking.

Milano Vice — Germany's first "virtual" pizza restaurant chain, partnering with underused kitchens to bake and deliver pizza under its own brand, using computer vision to check quality. Founded by ex-Delivery Hero execs, raised $9M Series A.

Faircado — An AI shopping assistant that finds second-hand alternatives to items you're about to buy new, nudging shoppers toward more sustainable purchases. Raised €3M led by World Fund.

Beauty & Longevity

Kalia Lab — A chain of medical-grade aesthetic clinics blending skincare, health, and "skin longevity" treatments with a digitized, AI-supported booking and diagnostic experience. Raised €3.9M and operates locations in Berlin and Hamburg.

AI Infrastructure & Dev Tools

Langfuse (now part of ClickHouse) — The most widely adopted open-source platform for tracing, evaluating, and debugging LLM applications in production, used by teams like Canva. Raised $4M seed before being acquired by ClickHouse in 2026, and continues building from Berlin.

Midplane — An open-source safety layer that sits between AI coding agents and a company's database, blocking dangerous queries and hiding sensitive data before an AI agent can do damage. Part of Y Combinator's Summer 2022 batch.

Cloudchipr — Helps engineering teams automatically find and cut wasted cloud spend using FinOps best practices, without manually auditing every cloud bill.

Logistics & Delivery

Karla — A post-purchase customer communication platform giving online shoppers one place to track, adjust, and manage deliveries across every carrier and store instead of juggling separate tracking pages. Raised €3.4M pre-seed backed by Flink and FlixMobility founders.
